Hungary - Maramures - Transsylvania - Brasov

Chapter 1: Görlitz - Breslau - Czestochowa

We start from Görlitz via Liegnitz and Breslau. And who would have expected that we will fall on our knees vis a vis of the Black Madonna?

Chapter 2: Krakau - Nowy Targ - Bardejov - Kosice
At Krakau we have to bite through something. Then we turn south to the Beskides. We have the first and last "Killerclimb". Thereafter we enjoy three jewels of the Slovakei.

Chapter 3: Hungary, Vine in Tokaj and 2 L waters of a well just there.

In Hungary we hit the beautiful town Tokaj. There is just a vine festival. Guess, what's to do then?

Chapter 4: Satu Mare, Maramures

We arrive at Romania and start to the "Happy Cemetary" of Sapanta. And then we enjoy the "open-air museum of the Maramures.

Chapter 5: Carpathians and the valley of the Bistritz. Bicaz Gorge, Niklasmarkt

At least one Carpathian pass must be climbed. Then we meet another cultural landscape. And we will have a somewhat dangerous adventure.

Chapter 6: Schässburg
The town of Schaessburg is one of the planned destinations. We relax for one day (after that long journey...)

Chapter 7: Transsylvania and Church Fortifications, Brasov
As we finally have reached Transylvania we want to see some of those Church Fortifications. And then we end at Brasov, the final town - unfortunately. The return journey is adventurous as well.
